Courtney Anne Holcomb, Studio Owner and Certified Pilates Teacher
Courtney Anne is a nationally certified Pilates teacher and movement educator. She completed her primary comprehensive certification through Balanced Body Education, as well as her test-out through the Nationally Certified Pilates Teacher (NCPT) program. She has been teaching Pilates since 2010, and teaching dance and movement since 2006. She has trained with many movement experts over the past few decades and pulls from various movement modalities into her teaching. She specializes in one-on-one training as well as working with special populations. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Spanish and Dance, with a minor in nutrition, and is also a licensed WI Educator with an ESL licensure.

Courtney Anne opened her first Pilates studio in 2016 in her hometown of Neenah, WI. In Spring of 2021, her husband and she relocated to Sheboygan, WI, and have loved being on Lake Michigan. Pilates Anchored LLC was opened Spring of 2025 in downtown Sheboygan to create a space that was accessible for Pilates and to serve the greater Sheboygan community with high-quality movement education in a small group setting.
When Courtney is not teaching Pilates, she is a high school Multilingual Learner teacher, professional dancer, and lifelong creative. You can also find her spending time with her husband Estin and their two cats. She loves mountain biking, hiking, cold plunging in Lake Michigan weekly year round, writing, spending time outdoors, weaving, traveling, gardening, and sharing through various modes of creative expression. She created a community initiative Move and Yield that focuses on encouraging people to move more, connect to the natural world, find creative expression, invest in community, and spend thoughtful time in yield. So really, doing anything that relates to moving, connecting, reflecting, and creating.
Courtney is also a certified Asahi Nordic instructor to help bring movement to all populations. She teaches Asahi Nordic movement series at the Mead Public Library throughout the year.

Courtney currently teaches Tuesday night, Thursday night, and Saturday morning group Reformer classes, outdoor Pilates mat classes in the summer months, and one-on-one sessions.
Charity Aguillard, Apprentice Pilates Teacher
Charity is an apprentice instructor at Pilates Anchored LLC. She fell in love with Pilates in 2019 and decided to deepen her personal knowledge and become an instructor. She is currently working through the Balanced Body curriculum with a goal to become comprehensively certified. She is passionate about breaking the stigma around Pilates being for a certain gender, size, or fitness level. Pilates is for everyBODY. Pilates has been key in injury prevention in my weightlifting pursuits, and helped her recover from a shoulder/bicep injury last year.
When she is not doing Pilates, you can catch her working her full-time gig as a pharmacist at Aurora Medical Center Sheboygan County, playing with her four (yes four) doggos, or traveling with her husband. She is excited to partner with Courtney to bring group reformer classes to Sheboygan!
Charity currently teaching Wednesday evening Pilates Group Reformer Classes at an Apprentice training rate.
